This website and business operations comply with applicable legislation including, but not limited to:

You agree not to:

• Use the website for unlawful purposes
• Interfere with the website’s functionality or security

All intellectual property remains the exclusive property of Klein's Windy Hills Homestead.

• All meat products are processed, handled, and sold in accordance with Nova Scotia and Canadian food safety regulations, including applicable inspection standards
• Availability is subject to supply
• Once products are in the customer’s possession, responsibility for proper storage, handling, and preparation transfers to the customer
• We disclaim liability for illness or damages resulting from improper handling or cooking

• Products are made using natural ingredients; however, no guarantees are made regarding suitability for individual skin types
• Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists and conducting patch tests
• To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for allergic reactions, sensitivities, or misuse

• All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes (HST)
• Prices may change without notice
• Payment must be received in full prior to order fulfillment

• Orders are subject to acceptance and availability
• Customers must adhere to scheduled pickup times
• Failure to collect orders may result in forfeiture without refund, at our discretion
• Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon pickup or delivery

Due to the nature of our products:

• Meat Products: Final sale, except where required under the Sale of Goods Act (NS) (e.g., defective or unsafe products)
• Natural Beauty Products: Eligible for return only if unopened and in original condition within 7 days
• Events: Subject to Section 8 (Event Policies)

Nothing in this section limits rights provided under Nova Scotia consumer protection laws.

You acknowledge that farms are inherently hazardous environments, including but not limited to:

• Interaction with animals
• Uneven terrain
• Agricultural equipment
• Weather-related conditions

By attending the Farm, you voluntarily assume all such risks.

To the fullest extent permitted by the Occupiers’ Liability Act (Nova Scotia) and applicable law:

• The Farm is not liable for personal injury, death, or property damage arising from risks inherent to farm activities
• Visitors agree that the Farm has taken reasonable steps to ensure safety
• Liability is limited except where caused by gross negligence or as otherwise required by law

• All minors must be supervised at all times
• Guardians accept full responsibility for the safety and conduct of minors in their care

We reserve the right to:

• Deny entry
• Remove individuals without refund
• Enforce safety rules

Failure to follow posted rules or staff instructions may result in removal.

• Advance booking may be required for “Family Farm Days” or other events
• Customer cancellations must be made at least [7 days] in advance for refunds
• The Farm reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances
• In such cases, refunds or rescheduling options will be provided

Visitors agree to:

• Follow all posted signage and instructions
• Practice proper hygiene, including handwashing after animal contact
• Refrain from unsafe behavior

We reserve the right to enforce health and safety measures at any time.

Personal information is collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with PIPEDA and our Privacy Policy.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Klein's Windy Hills Homestead shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of income, profits, or business opportunities
• Any damages exceeding the amount paid by the customer for the product or service in question

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Klein's Windy Hills Homestead, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the website
• Your breach of these Terms
• Your participation in farm activities

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Nova Scotia.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
